Year 4 & 5 thoroughly enjoyed their trip to Durham Oriental Museum. When we arrived, the children split up into different groups and joined in with a range of activities. The morning consisted of a museum tour and object investigation, followed by an Arabic tile decorating workshop. After lunch, the children practiced some calligraphy before reenacting some Middle Eastern folktales from 1001 nights. What a fantastic trip exploring ancient Arabia!
