SEND

SEND information about our school.

As part of the government’s reforms around special educational needs (SEN) and with the introduction of the new Code of Practice in September 2014, local authorities are required to publish a local offer showing the support available to disabled children and young people and those with SEN and their families and carers.

At St. Mary and St. Thomas Catholic Primary school, we value the abilities and achievements of all our children, and we are committed to providing the best possible environment for learning, for all children.

Our school provides a broad and balanced curriculum for all children. We support a number of pupils with special educational and healthcare needs. On this page we have included links to information that we hope you will find helpful.

If you have any questions or comments, please contact our school SENDCo, Mr Patterson. Mr Patterson can be contacted via the school office: 0191 414 3116.

Our SEND information report is available on our policies page.
