We are studying painting this term and today, we had the opportunity to practice using water colours. We focused on primary colours and have started to mix colours to create secondary colours.

The children practiced holding their paint brushes correctly, using the correct amount of paint to water ratio and how to maintain a clean, tidy and safe workspace.

Over the next few weeks, we will create more water colour work and look at a variety of modern artists to gain inspiration from their work.
