We are coming to the end of our painting topic and this week, the children enjoyed painting a piece of art, inspired by the French artist Sonia Delauney. We critically analysed her work, using descriptive adjectives including vibrant, bold, colourful and creative. The class used templates to draw the circles in their work, keeping in the style of Sonia and then used their painting skills to precisely create their works of art.
