In Year 1, we gathered together for a very peaceful collective worship to mark October, the month of the Rosary. With the candle lit and our voices joined in prayer, we thought about Jesus and His mother, Mary.

Each child held their own set of rosary beads close as we took a quiet moment to think about how we can follow in Mary’s ways of trusting in God. The children then placed their beads carefully on our focal point as a sign of their prayers and reflections.

Together, we talked about how we could go forth, sharing God’s love by being kind, thoughtful and caring in our daily lives and trusting in God’s way, just as Mary did.

We ended our collective worship with a heartfelt Hail Mary, bringing our prayers together in a very special way.
