Year 6 have had a wonderful day celebrating Word Book Day! Despite still doing maths and English this morning, much to their delight, they’ve thoroughly enjoyed decorating a paper plate with their favourite book and reading with their special friends in Reception. Throughout the day, we also tuned into ‘BWCET Between the Pages’, where we listened to a Q&A with the authors of Kick and The Boy at the Back of the Class, which are two texts we’ve explored this year – how exciting!
