This week in Maths, Year 1 have been learning all about counting in 2s, 5s and 10s. The children have thoroughly enjoyed exploring different counting patterns and practising their new skills through a range of exciting and interactive activities.

We have worked together as a class, in small groups and with partners to help each other learn and build confidence when counting forwards in multiples of 2, 5 and 10. The children particularly enjoyed our practical group activities, where they were able to work collaboratively to spot patterns, count hands and support one another with their learning.

It has been wonderful to see the children showing such enthusiasm and teamwork during our Maths lessons. We are becoming much more confident at recognising patterns in numbers and using our counting skills to solve problems. Well done, Year 1!
