Nursery have been exploring lots of different mark making techniques and some of the children used this skill to draw treasure maps. The children were hooked! We used this inspiration and together the children created a group map. They used tea bags, coffee and charcoal to create their map – some drawing arrows for the direction they wanted to go and others drawing zig zags for the waves. Adding the finished touch of ‘X’ marks the spot! Here we are in our groups ready for the treasure hunt! The children worked extremely well together in their teams, showing kindness, resilience and were very supportive towards one another. Ahoy Nursery Pirates!
