Today in science, Year 6 explored the important roles of blood vessels and blood. To bring our learning to life, each child created their own bottle of “blood,” with each ingredient representing a different component. The oat hoops symbolised red blood cells, the salt represented plasma, the white marshmallows showed white blood cells, and the raisins represented platelets.
