In Year 1, we celebrated Just One Tree Day by taking a peaceful nature walk around our school grounds, appreciating all the beauty that surrounds us each day. Along the way, we collected fallen leaves to add to our special class tree.

Back in the classroom, the children created their own colourful trees, each decorated with thoughtful notes thanking God for the wonders of nature, sharing what they love most about the world around them, and promising ways they can help to protect it.

The children had a wonderful time exploring, reflecting, and creating, a truly special way to remind ourselves of how important it is to care for God’s world and a lovely way to end the half term.
