This half term, Year 2 have been independently planning their own Celebration of the Word. This week, it was Blake and Harry’s turn. They chose their own theme (Joy in our Hearts), a hymn and a bible reading. They even created their own response where they asked every child to write down what gave them joy in their hearts. They finished their liturgy by giving every child a yellow heart to take home. They told us they chose the colour yellow because it’s a happy colour. Year 2 are doing so well planning their own liturgies. We have been so impressed with the thought and love going into each one – well done, Year 2.
