Today in RE, Year 1 learned about how special Jesus is to the parish family. The children listened carefully to the story of Jesus in the Temple and talked together about why Jesus is such an important and special person for the Church community.

To deepen their understanding, the children created puppets of the special people in the story, including Jesus, Mary, Joseph and the teachers. Using their puppets, they worked together to re-enact the story, showing excellent listening skills, teamwork and confidence as they brought the story to life.
