We started our day by reading the story of Peter Rabbit. We heard about his adventure in Mr McGregor’s garden, in his tool shed and how he managed to get home safely. We all made our own bunny ears and a pop up Peter Rabbit puppet. After lunch we had a special delivery from Mr McGregor! He had left us a full basket of vegetables from his garden, some we recognised and some we didn’t. We spent time feeling and smelling the vegetables and herbs. We used some of the vegetables to create a plan for Mr McGregor’s garden and we made a start on planting lots of different seeds ready for his garden.
