This morning,Year 6 carried out an investigation to decide whether yeast is a living thing. They concluded that yeast is a living thing because the mixture (warm water, sugar and yeast) released carbon dioxide, which caused the balloons to inflate. Throughout the morning, we watched the balloons get gradually bigger. Isaac was our photographer and then Lewie created a photo story to demonstrate the difference in 5 minutes and 10 minutes – well done boys!
