This week, Year 1 have been thinking all about Anti-Bullying Week. We’ve been proudly wearing our odd socks each day to celebrate how we are all unique and special in our own ways!

Today, we worked together on a lovely class project: decorating our very own friendship blanket. Each child added their own pictures and messages of kindness, friendship and looking after one another. As we made our blanket, we spent time talking about what bullying is, how we can be kind, and what to do if we ever see someone feeling left out or upset.

Our finished blanket will be added to our reading corner as a cosy reminder that Year 1 is a team, and that kindness keeps us warm!
